For us at Epic Lighting LLC, the philosophy is simple: create a visual landscape that invites a multi-sensory, interactive experience, where the lines between artist and audience are blurred. An ambiance that reflects the mood of what is being celebrated — be it music, love, a goal met, or an achievement earned. Our team takes great care to make a high impact on your audience while leaving little trace of it on our environment. We work with a mastery and respect for the art of lighting that honors the vision of our clients’ dreams.

Meet the Team

The quality of our service is amplified by the character of the people who deliver it. One of Epic Lighting’s greatest assets is our team, whose group dynamic personifies the essence of teamwork, both internally and in how we collaborate with our clients and fellow vendors.

The heart and soul of Epic Lighting LLC is Keith Langlois, founder/owner and chief lighting designer. It is Keith’s artistry that lays the foundation for all Epic event lighting projects. Aleta Lee serves dually as Epic’s operational backbone as well as our principal client relations manager, handling all corporate and off-island events. Jessica Nakasone-Koki represents the other half of the client relations team, managing all Maui-based events and providing pre-production and on-the-ground support as our community liaison. Ben A., Kaleo J. and Max K. make up the lighting tech crew that assist Keith in turning his designs into tangible realities. Epic’s set builds are often a group effort between the entire crew, with occasional help from long-time master builder Ben Alvarez who answers our call from his native Texas to collaboratively create the custom pieces that complete an Epic event’s design.

On the administrative front, Jill Roberts looks after the financial matters, and Jen Cox relays the Epic message as our social media maven and wordsmith.
