And the Winner is…
As you may have seen on Facebook or Instagram, our social media contest for Maui AIDS Foundation concluded December 1 with the reveal of our winner at MAF’s World AIDS Day Maui event.
For those of you who are still in the dark, our winner of the social media contest is…KEONI WATS! In the picture at the top of this post, Keoni is the gentleman on the right, in between Administrative Manager/Corporate Client Liaison Aleta Lee and Social Media Manager Jen Cox; MAF’s Development Director Anthony Acosta is on the far left. Here’s a video of the award presentation with Keoni:

There was so much LOVE, positivity, and encouragement in the room that night. We hope you watch all the videos floating around so you can see for yourself the wonderful people working together to make Maui County a safe, supportive, and educated place when talking about HIV/AIDS, and where positive sexual health is promoted throughout the islands.
We are honored to have played a role in this year’s World AIDS Day Maui campaign with the Maui AIDS Foundation, and even more excited, encouraged, and inspired by the wealth and warmth of those who participated in our social media contest.
Mahalo, Mahalo, Mahalo for EVERYONE who liked, shared, and especially commented on our posts. YOU ALL helped raise the awareness, love, and understanding required to battle a disease like HIV on all its fronts.
If you didn’t get a chance to read all the comments, we highly encourage everyone to review the posts on our Facebook and Instagram to see just how valued Maui AIDS Foundation is throughout our community. May it inspire you to continue supporting local nonprofit organizations wherever you may be — and not just during this holiday season, but all year round!
We all know the struggles and challenges of life do not take a vacation nor do they go away when the clock strikes midnight on December 31; likewise, then the support for our hard-working, mission-driven organizations should not either!
If you feel inspired to support, but do not have a particular organization in mind, may we humbly point you towards our amazing community partners — Maui AIDS Foundation included — that would certainly appreciate your support in time, talent, and/or treasure. Always remember, there are multiple ways to give!
